A NOTE ON MENTAL HEALTH
Mental health is something we deeply understand and sympathize with. We acknowledge the seriousness of these issues and always recommend approaching this work side by side with a therapist. If you are already suffering from a mental illness, we strongly advise against starting Brain Artistry offerings without the supervision of a doctor or therapist.
Working with Brain Artistry can be very challenging and may cause mental and physical discomfort. As we are not licensed medical professionals, we recommend seeking professional support, and we have compiled some resources that may assist you.
In case of an emergency, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at number 143 (http://www.143.ch Phone: 143), dial 144, or go to the emergency room of a hospital.
If you can wait a few days, schedule an appointment with your primary care physician if you believe your condition is mild to moderate. If your symptoms are moderate to severe, schedule an appointment with a specialized doctor such as a psychiatrist. You may need to contact your local mental health center or your primary care physician to get a referral. If you are currently in school or at university, reach out to your institution and inquire about their support services.
We recommend looking for support groups in your community and educating yourself about your symptoms and diagnosis.
Social support and knowledge can be valuable tools for coping.
